FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Are your estimates free?
Yes. Contact me at (708)407-6558 so we can schedule a time for me to stop by and give you an estimate.
What’s the process for getting a job booked?
During the estimate process I will inform you of the cost of the job, my current availability, approximately how long it will take to complete the job, and the deposit amount required to book the job. Generally the deposit required to book the job will be similar in price to the total cost of the paint. Once the deposit has been paid, you will be put on the schedule and the job will be booked. I will do my best to keep you informed of any delays prior to work commencing as I do my best to meet all of my clients’ needs.
What if something comes up during the job or I decide I want additional work done?
When the job begins and additional work is discovered (so much peeling paint in older homes in Chicago, unfortunatley), I will do my best to add in the additional work needed and give you a price that fairly reflects the additional work that is needed. Generally if the work added on is a few days extra of work, I can add it on without too much of an issue. I try to leave some wiggle room between clients in case of delays or extra work for just this reason. If it’s weeks of work I may opt to book you for that work separately at the next future date.
How do you handle payment?
For small jobs under a week long: after the deposit is paid the remaining balance is due at the end of the job.
For jobs in excess of a week: after the deposit is paid, a weekly payment of $1500-1800 will be requested with the final amount due at the end of the job. I will never request payment be paid in full if the job is not completely done or a section of the job that is no longer being done has not been discounted/removed from the work order. Payments can be made via Zelle or cold hard cash.
Do you accept credit card?
Not at this time. I currently accept Zelle and cash payments. If you pay in cash you get a discount.
